Can anyone help me with Verb Tense? I have an english test in two days and I'm not understanding verb tense. There are examples in the book but they don't have the answers, and I don't have a tutor.
If anyone could answer these examples so I can prepare for my test I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks so much!

Additionally, since 2003, schoolteachers and others who work with the public (complain)___________ to authorities about a possible misuse of cell phone cameras in public places. In fact, in 2004, one government employee's rage (record) by an astute member of the public. On the other hand, since their first appearance, cell phone cameras (help) ___________ some people. In August 2003, a fifteen-year-old boy (approach) by a stranger in a white car. The boy (ask) ___________ by the strange man to get into the car. Clearly, the cell phone camera (cause)___________ a lot of controversy since its appearance in the marketplace. Last year, many complaints (register)___________ with authorities about cell phone camera misuse. However, since 2003, cell phone cameras (help) ___________ people in emergency situations. Since its debut, the cell phone camera (change)___________ the way we communicate. | | are criticized, were banned, were filmed, complained, was recorded, have helped, was approached, was asked, took, was congratulated, was caught, caused, were registered, have helped, has changed. | Someone told me that if a parent? owns a house, they can legally put hidden cameras in their ADULT sons bedroom, bathroom without his permission or knowledge if it doesnt fall under voyeur laws. They say their house their rules. But I have read things like this many places online
Hidden cameras (often referred to in the media as “nanny cams” or “nanny cameras”) are still usually okay from a legal point of view, unless the babysitter has a reasonable expectation of privacy. There is a federal law which makes it a crime to secretly capture photo or video images of people in places and situations in which they have an expectation of privacy, such as bathrooms, dressing rooms, locker rooms, hotel rooms and tanning salons. Most states now have similar laws. So, you definitely can’t record the nanny in the bathroom and probably not in her bedroom if she lives in with your family
what is the difference? You as an adult would have a reasonable expectation of privacy in the bathroom right?Or in your bedroom.I dont see why a baby sitter and an adult guy would be any different.
You could argue parents are supposed to keep an eye on their guys, but once he is an adult he is his own person. | | Ya no thats just wrong! a camera should never legally be aloud in any of those places! Bedroom / Bathroom ETC! that's complete invasion of privacy! |
